Tormua, Finland

Tormua is a gold deposit close to the Russian border. It is part of a 140 km long greenstone belt, known for some ten gold mineralisations.

Based on 3,804 metres of core drilling and 446 metres of RC drilling performed by GTK, GTK has calculated a mineralisation of 590,000 tonnes with an average content of 3.5 grammes per tonne.

However, geochemical and geophysical investigations indicate that the mineralisation may be significantly larger than the project area that has previously been studied.
